Everyone helps with whatever the activity will be for that day, but it is usually weeding, planting, and helping with the hale that is on the property also - so please wear closed shoes and pants (NO SHORTS). Lunch is provided and is usually a combination of efforts between Kiwanis and the Key Clubs, so if Circle K wants to provide anything, it would always be welcome. Lunch is usually over by 12:30 and we can leave afterwards. The Discovery Forest is just down the main path after entering the zoo - it is on the right, at the intersection of the path that leads to the left to the pavilion and the right to the tiger enclosure - there is an exhibit sign with pictures of some of the plants and names, explanation of the plants, etc.
